Tokyo trip - Taylor Swift Eras Concert!

 

Well, now you know, one of the big reasons for me going to Tokyo with David on this business trip - I am a confirmed Swiftie.  So is Kaela.  She had gotten tickets for Indianapolis this November (and surprised me by saying "you are going, Mom";))...  but the date turned out to be in conflict with a family wedding.  

So, Kaela got tickets for Tokyo (!), and David already had a business trip planned for that time, so it was meant to be and it got me onto a plane back to Japan.  

Two of the four tickets turned out to be fraudulent (STRESS), and after a lot of phone calls over multiple days with Stub Hub, and a few other false starts, we were able to secure two tickets, for a different night.  So David and I went to the concert Friday, and Kaela and Liz went on Saturday. 

All I can say, is that it was absolutely wonderful, totally worth it, and unforgettable, for all four of us.  

The last time I was at Tokyo Dome, David and I were getting COVID vaccines.  Before that, I would come to Tokyo Dome for the Quilt Festival.  Never could I have imagined a date night with David at Tokyo Dome to see Taylor Swift.  

Cute and random Japanese snack - strawberry icecream, with one single tortilla chip.  Don't ask, just enjoy!  lol.
