I finished the Ladies' Aid New York Sampler (this was a BOM from Barbara Brackman in 2021). I really loved using Barb's big fan stencil for the quilting.
Walking to our little (tiny) neighborhood park:
David's folks "Nani and Poppie" are in town from Utah this week and we are having fun! This weekend we will be driving to Virginia together for our niece's wedding.

This quilt is magnificent! I adore the soft colors and the Baptist fan quilting is perfect! Enjoy your special family time!
ReplyDeleteI love the soft colors as well and what doesn’t look good with Barb's stencil.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on finishing your beautiful quilt! The Baptist Fan is perfect for the quilting. I’m envious - spring looks well advanced in your area!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh! So lovely! The soft color palette just really calls to me. You really made a sweet quilt.
ReplyDeleteI can't begin to tell you how much I like this quilt. It's suprising because blue's not my color, but the soft blue you chose is beautiful. All of the blocks look great--delightful fabric for the dog with the basket--and I love how you put hearts in the corners. It's just a really beautiful quilt, Cynthia!
ReplyDeleteIt looks very green already in N.C. Little Charlotte is certainly growing! And it must have been great to have family together for a while.
I love the quilt and the fans are perfect for the top! Have fun on your trip!
ReplyDeleteYour Ladies' Aid turned out great and Barb's fan stencil looks fantastic. I'm just waiting for 1/2 yd solid red to arrive so I can do the border on mine.
ReplyDeleteJust love how your quilt turned out. The soft pretty pallet is so pretty. Thanks for mentioning my fan stencil, I'm glad you like it. It looks great on this quilt.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the wedding and best wishes to the happy couple.
