Another little collage quilt this month this time with a nod to Pride Month. This is about 12"x16"
More than a handful of young people we know, have come out in recent years. Love these brave souls and I hope our society is finally getting with it.
Barb (Fun with Barb) wrote a wonderful detailed post here all about Pride and the Pride flag - and I hope you will check it out! I learned about the addition of pink and light blue, from Barb. Thank you Barb!
Thank you Wendy for gathering our minis each month! Check out Wendy's blog The Constant Quilter here!
xo gratefully
Cynthia
Always so fun to visit your monthly mini collages series. Do you plan to hang them gallery style in your next quilting room? It must be close to the time for your home visit with your kids and sweet Charlotte, enjoy!
ReplyDeleteFabulous! You nailed it with this one. I am so proud of you and Barb for celebrating this month in a special way. I wish I had thought of it before I made my June mini! I adore this one. Thanks for another great and meaningful mini.

ReplyDeleteAnother home run, Cynthia! Everything about it is perfect, from the meaning behind it, to the wonderfully fun collage style, and the quilting pattern. It would be fun to see a photo of all of your collage minis together.
