More Garden Quilt appliqué

So far, I am really enjoying this appliqué project, the free BOM from Sentimental Stitches - you can find it here.  It's Poppy's Polka Dot Flower Garden.   Two blocks are available at the beginning of each month.

These large blocks - two of the corner blocks - were very time consuming.... but, I have time!

December blocks:

These are the fabrics I've pulled for this project.  I enjoy the busy work of pulling, editing, and tidying up a stash.

The year is winding down.  My daughter Noelle gave me this Mary Oliver book of poetry for Christmas last year, and I've enjoyed it all year long.

Love the afternoon sunshine these days -

And just love FaceTiming with this little nugget.  Six month old Charlotte.

  4. The polka dot blocks are so pretty. I like looking closely to find polka dots in each one. Those corner blocks look pretty intense!
    Charlotte is absolutely adorable.
Beautiful tree! I do so love a glowing tree. Hate to see it go at season's end. And I love the painting of Christ you have to the side of it.

  7. Your 2 new appliqué blocks are gorgeous and I like your fabric pull a lot! Charlotte looks so happy - love those baby smiles! Your temps are way better than the “feels like 1 degree” here right now! By the way I enjoyed the lovely colored fall trees in your last post - I’m going through autumn “withdrawal” here 🙂.

  8. Your applique blocks are wonderful! Little Charlotte isn't so little anymore! Isn't it amazing that the older we get the faster they seem to grow. She's a little sweetheart!

  12. I'm amazed at the number of fabrics you have used in each block. You must have a bigger fabric collection in your small apartment than I realized! I love it when the sun comes out on a winter day. Merry Christmas.

  15. What a smile Charlotte has~! Don't these little ones gain personality quickly!

I guess we quilters are blessed during this pandemic because we always have some project that we don't mind working on and the time goes rather quickly. Stay safe!
