sunny baby quilt
A fun finish a couple of weeks ago... made more fun by the fact that my sister in law pieced the top. So adorable!!
All I did was sandwich and quilt it, and bind it. This is for our fellow sister in law who is having a baby this month;).
The label is from a set of vintage embroidered blocks I won at silent auction at the AQSG seminar in Manchester.

Just as cute as can be. Team work is always a productive way to get a quilt done. The vintage embroidered piece makes a beautiful label!
ReplyDeleteThis makes me want to make a baby quilt! Sweet and simple, with an adorable label!
ReplyDeleteI am just finishing up an I-Spy quilt and have been wondering how it would look if I joined the blocks without all that sashing. So nice to see how well yours works. I see some fabric in that that I am using too. A few patterned fabrics among the picture blocks seems to work just fine.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little quilt--and label!
ReplyDeleteHow adorable! I love collecting vintage linens and never thought to use one for a label. Very clever! I love what you called the baby quilt. My new grandson's name is "Sonny".
ReplyDeletejust lovely
ReplyDeleteVery sweet and simple. Absolutely charming, especially with that wonderful looking label.:)
ReplyDeleteSo adorable. What a precious baby quilt. That label is so unique and special. What a sentimental addition to the quilt.
ReplyDeleteA perfect baby quilt: simple and sweet, as others have said.
