It just can't be the last day of January already!
One highlight this month was teaching a couple of beginner sashiko classes at my most local quilt shop, Cobblestone Quilts in Townsend MA.
David purchased some gorgeous Japanese linen for these projects. It was a bit loosey goosey to work with but I think the results will be beautiful.
Both sessions were so much fun, great gals, and there is interest in more classes, which just makes me so happy! I'm already dreaming up the next project.
I'm so grateful for the classes I took in Japan with a Kazuko Yoshiura who taught me everything I know. Nothing makes me happier than passing it on down the road!
Happy to see February around the corner. Happy quilting everyone!
