Today is the day we share our basket blocks for the Front Porch quilt-a-long.
I just finished today on this hot and hazy humid Monday. These are the weeks of the year where I really wish we had central A/C! We are having some young missionaries over for dinner tonight and we are trying to figure out how to do ALL the cooking outside. I think it will be grilled burgers and corn, plus cold fruit and all the fixings.
I didn't have a large floral I liked, so I improvised with the flowers.
This is what we have so far:
Right away I started prepping for our next step - the three small watermelon blocks ... Check out the others' blocks on Lori's blog today, and say a little prayer for Lori as she recently lost her Mom to Alzheimers, and today are the services. Virtual quilter blogger hugs to you across the miles, Lori.
Love your colors and fabric choices. It's a wonderful pattern to have fun with. Hope some cool breezes come your way.
