Happy New Year!

When Kaela visited in October she asked if she could take The Winter Quilt home with her to Austin TX.  Yes!!

THIS is why I quilt!

  1. I'm in total agreement. And it certainly warms my heart when my family takes pride in my love of quilt making. I can see yours does too.

  2. Lucky Lucky Girl ! I love that quilt. How special that she'll wrap up in it so far from home.

  5. In my book there's no better compliment than someone asking for a particular quilt.

  6. It's such a gorgeous quilt! I'm surprised it hasn't been conscripted prior to this holiday.:)

  7. When I made a big I-spy quilt for my first daughter's family, I told her it needed to be used ... even spread out for a picnic with friends. It has lived on her sofa all these years and often seen in pictures wrapping one of the family members.
