Stars in a Time Warp-5&6

It's double pinks this week on Stars in a Time Warp - I can never have enough of these awesome pinks.  I read the post first thing this morning and couldn't wait to get into the sewing room.

With the exception of the brown stripe above, all the other fabric bits were already in my pink scraps bin.

Click here for this week's post on Barbara Brackman's blog - as usual, lots of examples, and great historical information.

Last week was Overdyed Green Solids - more difficult.

In the block below,  the light green points are the very last scraps from a piece of shot cotton I got in Japan.

This is a great series and we learn so much each Wednesday from Barbara's posts.  The whole deal is explained here and it's easy to jump in anytime.  And here's a neat interview:  Build a Repro Stash with Barbara Brackman.

And here's another plug for #starsinatimewarp on Instagram!

  2. Love your blocks! I found the green a bit of a challenge, too. Starting on my pinks today.

  3. I have those double pinks. LOL I see you caught up yesterday, too. Great blocks, and I like your dual colored points. I didn't even think about that!
